In 1956 during
the Americana themed period at Steuben Glass, Bruce
Moore designed a pair of 13" tall copper wheel engraved
Vases featuring the famous duo of Huckleberry Finn and
Tom Sawyer. Since these superbly engraved pieces
do not appear in any of the Annual Catalogues, it is
fairly certain that very few examples were produced for
sale. Each museum quality piece features the title
character at play on the lower front with an inscription
below. The upper back includes more engraving. |
