Introduced in
1980 and designed by the incomparable James Houston, the
#0272 Blue Whale is a solid crystal form cut to
represent an iceberg, copper wheel engraved on the back
with a Blue Whale which seems to disport itself within
the Arctic Sea. A trail of bubbles rises from its
blowhole. The Blue Whale, a creature of gigantic grace,
is now almost extinct. It is the largest animal ever to
exist on earth, usually weighing at maturity two or
three times more than the largest dinosaur. Its tongue
alone may weigh as much as an elephant and its voice can
carry under water a hundred miles. Properly signed and
in excellent condition. |
