#0131 Woodcock is a classic James Houston design from
1974. Limited to an edition of only 25, this masterwork
features a crystal tree trunk engraved by copper wheel
with an American Woodcock seen through a lattice of
slender branches. By prismatic reflection--and depending
upon the position of the viewer--the wide-eyed bird
appears alone, in multiples or remains hidden within the
tree!! A most impressive and important exhibition piece
for any major Steuben Glass/Houston collection. Properly signed and
in excellent condition with original red leather case. |
