Designed by
Sidney Waugh in 1962, Narcissus is an engraved crystal
block depicting the youth of Greek mythology. Sheltered
from the sun by surrounding rock, Narcissus reaches
longingly for his reflection in the clear water of a
fountain. Having spurned Echo's love, Narcissus is
doomed by Nemesis to pine away in love of his own
reflected image. This rare masterwork is 11" wide, 5
3/4" high and 2" in depth. |
